You know that I frequently tell about the bugs that I have when listenning to DMR.
These bugs are still here but something is better than before:
With the OpenGD77 firmware I experimented some extra troubles when listening to commercial DMR repeaters (maybe some of them could be Tier3?) though I have not particular bug with the official firmware.
With this release of the firmware (may be the one before too) the RX of the commercial repeaters seems to be much more better. I can listen to the commercial conversations without the blackouts that I used to have.

;) Nice Luc, thanks for the positive report !.

Cheers.

End of November I took a 10W 20dB attenuator and fed my digital power meter
to make some test about power output settings and real power read.
Set the radio in UHF, FM, changed the values of calibration power to reach 5W.
The radio was holding the power, keying for lots of minutes.
Then I decided to test on a repeater, connected the rubber antenna and called,
30secs and GD77 turned off completely and started heating up, burnt!
Easy conclusion: 5W when on good return loss, since then I never exceed the 4W output setting when
on portable conditions.

Be wary of the quality of the antennas used, especially small rubber antenna....
