Note: I use my GD77 as a UHF DMR radio only and not as a hotspot nor a scanner with a pi-star/zumspot.

I have been using the Jan 29th version for about 6 hours of activity on various TGs with zero problems and have enjoyed excellent sound and solid connections with very few dropouts.

VERY pleased and love the operational ease.

Thanks :D

Everything has worked well with this version with one single exception. See image below where I'm seeing some error on the upper line of the screen. This is using a repeater, not a hotspot.

Hi,

It's a well known old bug, screen corruption.
You can force redraw by pressing black button once.

Cheers.

The firmware works well, but I also preferred the old information display. In my personal taste they were more beautiful and also contained the repeater information. I'm sorry that you can no longer have this view, I will return to the previous version.
I must admit, I did not notice that in one of Daniel’s changes to the caching, he had also changed the Search Order when looking up the Callsign.

I think some radios, have the search order as an option, so we will probably implement that feature and also default to using the Contacts and the DMR ID database first and then the TA info last.

I will add this tomorrow morning.

I had a quick look at it last night, but it was too late to make a change

But its now Friday morning here in Aus, so my brain will be working again ;-)

I've tried to add an option to chose whether the display uses TA first or not.

By default it should use local data, but in my testing at the moment I don't seem to be receiving any TA data from BM, so I'm having trouble testing it.

Also, I've added a 50mW and 5W++ power setting,

Both of these required changes to the settings, so you'll need to go through your settings and put things back to the way you like them ;-)

My hotspot now reports RSSI of S9+40 dB at a distance of 10 meters with 250 mW.
Changed to the 50 mW option which changed my hotspot's RSSI to S9+24 dB with all other parameters staying the same.

Everything looks great !

Thanks! :D
