I tried to do an update on the forum software yesterday but it failed and I had to restore the backup.

I think somehow there is now a permissions problem,

I will have to investigate if file uploads no longer work

OK

The issue was that the default setting for the board was to only allow 50Mb of total attachments (for everyone)

I have increased this to 100Mb, but I will probably end up be deleting old attachments, as I don't have infinite storage capacity on my web hosting.

BTW. I still need to try to update the forum software, as there are some security updates, but I've tried 3 times already and each time it got errors and I had to restore the previous version :-(
