Update 15th Jan
Posted: Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:35 am
Feedback from the semi-experimental version on 14th Jan was good, so I've now released those changes as the 'Latest" version
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... latest.sgl
In addition, 2 changes have been made by Daniel to the Hotspot functionality
Important.
Hotspot mode is no longer enabled by pressing the black button (SK1) when turning the radio on.
You must now use the Hotspot setting in the Options screen and choose MMDVM (for PiStar etc) or BlueDV
Once this is enabled the radio will accept a connection via USB and go into Hotspot mode when the commands are received from MMDVMHost / PiStar or BlueDV.
Also, when Hotspot mode is enabled, the display of the mode "DMR" is shown in bold text.
By default Hotspot mode is disabled.
Once the radio is put into Hotspot mode, this setting will be be remembered. e.g. Next time the radio is turned on it, it will still be listening for Hotspot commands, however this should not interfere with the normal operation of the radio, as this is the same functionality as was in the Tier1 version.
