I've updated the latest version to include a fix for a DMR transmission error when the PTT is released

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... latest.sgl

This also includes the other changes
  • Pressing SK1 on the Channel screen displays the Tx and Rx frequency instead of the channel name and zone name. In FM mode this also displays the CTCSS and squelch data
  • Pressing SK1 on the VFO screen, in FM mode displays the CTCSS and squelch data
  • Language update to German,Italian and Finnish
  • Change the settings version number to force a reset of the settings in an attempt to resolve the problem of the backlight mode of Auto not being available.
Technical note.
The bug in the DMR system has been present to months but only seems to be noticed by some repeaters.

During transmission the C6000 DMR chip needs to be configured ever 30mS to control what it does for the next DMR frame, specifically to alternately transmit then not to transmit. However when the operator releases the PTT on DMR the radio does not immediately stop transmitting, it has to send the End Of Transmission sequence.
When transitioning from normal transmission to the end of transmission sequence the C6000 was not being configured about what it should do on the next frame, hence it was continuing to transmit, and for 1 DMR frame it was transmitting on both Timeslots

We know there is at least on other bug in the DMR system which can effect both Tx and Rx, but this updates only makes a small change to correct this bug at the end of transmission.

Thank you, seems to be working fine, I have been scanning on the repeaters, my hotspot and GD77 openspot on TGIF so a lot of traffic and all the updates seem to be working as expected. Nice work
