problem set location manually on west (on RD-5R)

I can't manually set the location west of Greenwich (on RD-5R). For example set 58.4948°W. (I can't change from E to W)
YES I was able to configure the latitude south of the equator, without problems.

E/W is selected the same way you select N/S, just hold the SK2 while you do it.

unfortunately, the same way to chang s/n on my radio not working to change e/w...

N/S is selected using the up and down arrows.
E/W is selected by holding SK2 (the lower side button) at the same time as pressing the up and down arrows.

I don't have an RD5R to check this, maybe someone else can check.

This should work an all radios. If it does not work on yours than you may have a fault with the side button. Does it work for other functions?

Yes, it works (of course only when the location is currently in edition, I mean while entering the digits).
