With the 12/15 OpenGD77 CPS and the 12/15 version of firmware (c974b13) I still see the private ID 9990 (parrot) transmitted as a talkgroup.

Can you try on another channel by just selecting that contact? I have Parrot programmed as a contact the same way, but I do not have a channel dedicated to it with Parrot as a contact. When I select the Parrot contact from the list for any channel and transmit to pi-star, it is not seen as TG- it works as intended. I just tested this.

This is the normal functionality for the CPS.

Thats why that part of the channel screen is called "Contact" and not "Talkgroup"

However in the OpenGD77, the "Contact" is only used if you have not assigned an Rx Group (aka Talklist Group) to the channel.

Just confirming. I do not have a TG List assigned to the channel, just the Private contact 9990 Parrot. This is being transmitted as TG 9990, not private contact 9990. This is not correct operation, right?

It is a bug.

However normally people have multiple TG's assigned to a channel using TG List / (Rx Group list)

Forecast for where we are, for today, is 43 deg C.
It’s not going to be pleasant.

It’s been getting noticeably hotter over the last 10 years

We’ve had to get more air conditioning installed 3 times.

I fitted external roller blinds on a lot of windows about 2 years ago, and I am now in the process of painting the roof white.

But at these sorts of extreme temperatures, it’s getting harder and harder to keep the heat out.
