UPDATE

problem solved. User error

I had an issue with my imported DMR channels as the TG numbers were not specified though the names were. That was indicated in the error message. It's all good now.

I think the OpenGD77 CPS is now ready for testing

The main difference is the 80 channels zones rather than 16 channels.
Also I've changed the extension of the codeplug file from .dat to .g77. The CPS will read .dat files but it will default to .g77

I've also fixed the Digital Contacts so that the TS override data can be exported and imported and fixed an annoyance where the Digital Contact always displayed with loads of leading zeros, which was ,far as I can tell, pointless.

This will install into a different directory and also use different registry keys, so in theory you should be able to run both CPS's independently

Hi Roger, I have updated firmware, and CE and it all worked so well. Thank you for what you have done.
Since you have upped the zones to 80 channels (what an improvement!), can the scan updated to match?

I was able to talk well into a DMR repeater also, was even able to up the power to the necessary power required, then back it off to save power - so easy!

Hi Ben

Scanning works for individual zones (all 80 channels) or there is virtual "All Channels" zone that has all the Channels in it, and you can also scan that zone.

Even better. I knew you had thought of that before I did!
Love your video's also.

Hi Ben

I think there is now so much functionality its helpful to have a video as well as the User guide. But as you can tell from my comment, I still didn't explain enough in the video ;-)

I totally agree with this, Roger. A series of videos explaining functions will be helpful. But that takes a lot of time to make those videos! I do it for my day job, teaching. Very effective but hard to do it well.

I made a video just about the Channel screen yesterday and it took 20 just for that screen !

And even then I missed a few things ;-)

I need to do a video about the CPS and codeplug creating, so I will try to do that today, using screen capture on my PC.

FYI: OBS works really well for making screencast videos for my teaching stuff.
