The firmware changes are:
* Fix crash bug when scanning stops on a simplex hotspot and Red button is pressed
* Improvement to DMR scanning detection reliability
Thanks to Daniel F1RMB for both of these changes, and to IK0NWG for finding this problem and reporting exactly what conditions caused it.
There are no changes to the CPS since the last Release Candidate

Re: Release Candidate (2022 02 27)
Are there any hotspot fixes or changes to this firmware? Should I update GD77 as HotSpot?
Does this version of Firmware make any improvements to HotSpot?
I would like to point out that version 23.02.2022 is excellent for HotSpot

The changes and fixes that Roger describes on every beta or RC are cumulative.
Cheers.

Hi I'm not a regular poster on hear, but I still appreciate all the work done! Just a quick question is there a new CPS for this newer RC? I did check back to the previous RC and the CPS download link for that one does not work for me at least at present

The CPS was updated in the last Release Candidate, and the same CPS version is in the files for this release candidateG7EXZ wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:44 pmHi I'm not a regular poster on hear, but I still appreciate all the work done! When you say, does not work. What do you mean exactly?
Re: Release Candidate (2022 02 27)
Sorry I just meant that the download link did not appear to be working on the thread of the previous RC

Re: Release Candidate (2022 02 27)
OK
I moved the old RC's into a backup folder, because people should always be using the latest RC
I didn't post a direct link to the CPS because it did not change from the last RC version, so there is no reason for people who updated the CPS during the last RC to update it again
I will however put a link to the parent folder of the firmware to make it easier for people to access all files assocaited with the RC even though most have not changed since the last RC
