Hi,
update translate czech.h
I have a question: key_long and key_repeat must have MaxLen: 11 or could be used 16?
Thanks František.

Cheers.

Can you also check look at

https://github.com/LibreDMR/voice-promp ... talian.csv

for the voice prompts
Hi Roger.
Off course, you are right.
Sorry, my bad.
Here you go it:
wordlist_italian.zip
(2.54 KiB) Downloaded 91 times
About voice prompts and wordlist.csv I know that it does not depend on you developers, but I have noticed that at least in the case of the italian localization, the male voice is more articulated than the female one (for example for the battery charge level Giorgio says "Volt", Bianca limits herself to a laconic "vi").
For my personal taste I would prefer to listen to the female voice, but because of the above I end up setting the warnings on "Beep", that is why I honestly did not think about a possible update of wordlist_italian.csv.

While I was updating wordlist_italian.csv I looked again at the translation of italian.h and finding some imperfections I improved it by perfecting and modifying some items.
So here is also the new upgraded version of italian.h:
italian.zip
(3.43 KiB) Downloaded 86 times
I am sorry I did not notice right away the problems in previous versions, sorry Roger and Daniel.
Thanks!

Thanks for the updates (italian.h is processed EDIT: wordlist too).

About the voices, you can build another wordlist for another voice (Carla or Bianca), but of course you need to re-check every single entry.
You can use ttsmp3, but bear in mind that the number of tries is limited. If you have a VPN, you can use it to get rid of that limit.

Cheers.

german translation update:

german.h and wordlist_german.csv for voicepromts

P.S. think I found a minor inconsistence at the voicepromt:

menu->display options->Battery - the voltage was announced as alphabetic character "V" instead of the existing word "Volt"

BTW.

The script I wrote to convert text to MP3, defaults to using ttsmp3.com, because it allows many texts per day to be converted.
However its not unlimited.

If it is impossible to make ttsmp3 sound correct, there is a way of using phoneme codes in the text (Daniel has used this slighly in the French version)
But ttsmp3 does not support phoneme codes, and in this case it has to use voicepolly.com

However voicepolly.com has very low free daily quota, so I would recommend you only test on that site if absolutely necessary

Ultimately both of these services use AmazonPolly, which is part of AWS, but its not a free service, and we are only able to to do this for free, because ttsmp3 and voicepolly currently have "demonstration" features for free.

If these sites go offline, it will be a lot of work (again) to find another site, then analyse how to send it data and get a response etc.
