Roger,

this file should be complete - sorry for your effort
Peter

I forgot to copy 1 section to the other (Non-English) xml files

<FirmwareLoaderReleasesList Text="Select release version">
<Controls>
<Control Id="btnDetectModel" Text="Detect Radio Type" />
<Control Id="releasesGridView" Text="Date & Time,Version,Type,Release Name,Downloads"/>
<Control Id="btnDown" Text=" Select && continue"/>
<Control Id="btnCancel" Text=" Cancel"/>
</Controls>
</FirmwareLoaderReleasesList>

Can you translate this for me.

Its for the screen which displays the list of available firmware

Thanks

Roger

PS.

Add the feature to translate these screens was much more complicated than I had initially estimated. I think in total there are probably approximately 200 texts which I had to update in the programming of the CPS, which took me many hours.
Hence why there are a few mistakes

BTW.

If anyone wants to translate the help texts.

This is possible, but would be a lot of work.

I have now zipped all the help files to make them easier to download.

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... _files.zip

Note. Only the HTML files, in the sub-folders would need to be edited, Not any of the other data files.

There is no way to directly test these files in the CPS, but they can be viewed in any web browser.

The help files need to be compiled to a .CHM file using the Microsoft Help compiler , which can be downloaded from here

Roger

I replenish the xml file with the missing strings and translated the section:
<FirmwareLoaderReleasesList Text="Select release version">
<Controls>
<Control Id="btnDetectModel" Text="Detect Radio Type" />
<Control Id="releasesGridView" Text="Date & Time,Version,Type,Release Name,Downloads"/>
<Control Id="btnDown" Text=" Select && continue"/>
<Control Id="btnCancel" Text=" Cancel"/>
</Controls>
</FirmwareLoaderReleasesList>
But i had to shorten the translations for " Select && continue" and " Cancel" because the buttons are at a fixed width and hence too narrow.
If it´s possible to extend the button width, I can revise the translation again.

P.S: the german translations in the .chm file are mostly outdated..

Hi Peter

OK.

I'll make the buttons wider.

Please make the changes to the translation and I will test with that translation to ensure the buttons are wide enough

BTW.

For buttons, there needs to be 2 & to make one & on the button.

This is because, on buttons the & sign before a letter indicates a shortcut key sequence e.g. &Open to use Control O to open.

So to display an & sign that is not a Control shortcut, requires && hence in XML this is && (as &amp is the XML for Ampersand )
