Eco Levels
Re: Eco Levels
BTW.
The calibration data looked OK.
I just wanted to check in case the Rx had some strange calibration applied.

Re: Eco Levels
Some observations with this version (Calib eco levels), all in LEVEL 4:VK3KYY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 4:08 amCan you try this version on level 3 or 4 (actually I think any eco level would behave the sound, but you may as well try it on 3 or 4)
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... levels.zip
Just in case the problem is the master reference oscillator output from the C6000, in this version I reconfigure the calibration of the C6000 after I wake it.
However, I really have no idea what is causing this problem
First minutes at level 4, audio lost and never returns or only after manipulation of menus, etc.
I switch off audio prompts to beep, leave on beep, ptt to open a TG in BM, audio no mute, any time that receive a transmission audio returns with a few ms of lost (return of C6000 sleep ??)
Return to switch prompts to L1, audio always continues on.
PTT to another TG, audio off and no return (same bug)
Back to menu put prompt in beep, no audio in normal transmissions until I made sound the beep when changed values, when beep sounds. audio always are on,
Changed Prompt to silence, first transmissions no sound, PTT to another TG, sound returns, at the moment always on.
I dont have an exact steps to reproduce, but when some are in right place problem are gone (normal few ms at start of voice lost)
I go to work now... need more investigation...
Re: Eco Levels
Thanks.
So you think somehow this is just the audio amplifier is not enabled ?
Does the radio display the ID or callsign etc of the Rx station.
Perhaps I should make a version which never turns off the audio amplifier when in DMR mode.
This will result in a small sound all the time, but a very quiet sound.
Thanks
Roger

Re: Eco Levels
Yes the problem are in the audio amplifier, all the RX, display callsign, lights. etc works Ok, only the audio dont work.VK3KYY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 7:11 amThanks.

Re: Eco Levels
yes it is, i was just saying thanks for all the hard workVK3KYY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 12:36 amKen.
Was the previous version working for you.
If so, there is no need to update. The update actually takes a bit more current (7mA) but I needed to do that, until I can resolve the problem of it not working at all for a few people . i,e DMR Rx stopped working.
Re: Eco Levels
Another observation, if all audio works OK in one TG and you have received another TG, only the current received TG are listening.
the another one are muted until you activate again the audio amplifier via menu (beep more that 0 db for example).
Yes very strange... and only 2 reports.... i made a video if you want more later......
