Roger,

I loaded the 10/16/2020 Development version into both of my GD77 radios and everything I use is working perfectly. By the way, I very much like the SK1 long press implementation for the monitor feature that showed up in the 10/10/2020 release and continues with this release. It keeps getting better and better!

Hi Rob

No worries.

Sorry if I sounded pedantic, but there has been some confusion over which button should be used for Monitor mode, and in the end I chose to use SK2, which I think works the best.

Thanks...

... and also FM squelch control has been added to the GD77S version (for FM channels)
Hi, thank you very much for this.
Finally I flashed a new firmware to my GD77S and have two notes:
1) When traversing to the squelch mode (by orange presses) it announces also the channel name as "Squelch mode OK)BAB Squelch 45 percent" which is inconsistent to other modes and I think too verbose.
2) In FM mode the long SK1 press announces also the digital contact associated to the channel. Shouldn't it announce rather the CTCSS/DCS filter if set?

I didn't encounter any serious bugs, good job.

Has anyone experienced such a condition? After installing the Firmware from October 16, 2020, the correspondent is heard on average 22 sec. gd77 - as a hotspot on the dashboard, it shows that the correspondent continues to transmit and I no longer hear him.

Is really afirm problem? I see this some times but I think is a network or repeater problems...

Moving on,
I see that the "feature requests" section has been closed. And I see the problem is that there is not too much space in the memory of the radio.
One option to free up space would be not to load the 15 languages always, but to put the English, and in the same way you put the voice files, put the language you want. I don't know if they really take up a lot but I understand that as soon as it is removed, we have a little more space for extra features.

It is indeed a good idea. I agree with your proposal, for what it's worth. Of course, if it's easy enough for developers to make such change.
