New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
New Unstable version has been uploaded.
It has updates for Catalan, Italian and German languages, and bug fixes for the Voice prompts level 3 when scanning and also reinstates the start beep when scanning when voice prompts are disabled

Hi Roger and Daniel,
I loaded the Jul 10 2020 [945ca1b] firmware into both of my GD77 radios this morning and have run them for about 15 minutes. Both radios are running fine and the scan confirmation beep is back when a scan is initialized. A quick check of the functions I normally use indicates everything seems fine with this release. I'm heading down to the shore in a few minutes and will take one of the radios with me to give it a workout scanning the marine band.
Thanks to both of you for the enhancements and the fixes!

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Guys
Thanks so much for installing the unstable / development version.
Its impossible for me and Daniel, to test more than a small fraction of the firmware, each time we make a change, because the firmware now has hundreds of functions, some of them quite complex.
So the more people than download and use the this version, the better it is for the users who don't want to be on the "bleeding edge"
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Daniel sent me a PR to fix a small problem with the VFO's not remembering their individual Timeslot override settings.
I have now tested, optimised and accepted the fix and uploaded new firmware files to Github
To test it.
Go to each VFO and press the Star button to set a different TS on each VFO, then check when switching between VFO A and B that the radio remembers the TS.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Tested and the TS is remembered correctly on my GD77.
I did notice that pressing the orange button a second time is the only way that I can switch between VFOs. If I press the orange button once the option to switch VFOs is selected and if I then press the green button it returns to the current VFO and does not switch. Not sure if this behavior is normal.
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
You can also change VFO, by pressing Orange then the Left or Right arrow to select the VFO you want, the press the Green button
The Orange Orange is just a shortcut
