I don't see that problem
simply as all the othe fast key assigned to menu
menu = green button
down = until battery
sk2 + X(assigned button)
finish

with all the rest work perfectly with battery after 2, 3 test work but usually it assign RSSI instead of battery

I still can't replicate this problem

Menu
Down
Down
SK2 + 1
RED

Then SK2 + 1 opens the battery screen

Can anyone else please test this and confirm whether it works for them

Update.
Edit

I thought QuickKeys were not working on the RD-5R, but I was pressing the keys too long

I think it is working.

But I will do more tests

I've created a new Development release

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 2020.11.03

This is another mixture of bug fixes, and internal code clean-ups

The only new feature change is a new setting on the Display Options screen of "Info:", which controls how the radio displays the TimeSlot and the Power

For the Power, the text will only be displayed in bold, for Channel Specific power, if the Info: option is set to "Pwr" or "Both".
If "Info" is set to TS or Both, then the TS display will change to give more information about how the TS is determined.
When the operator presses the * (STAR) key to override the Channel or TG TS, the TS will be shown in bold font.
If the TS is set because the TG has a TS override, the TS will be shown as "cS1" or "cS2" i.e cS1 = TS1 from the Contact (TG), cS2 = TS2 from the Contact (TG).

Most people on a simplex hotspot probably don't need to use the additional TS information, but operators using DMR MARC may find it useful to have an indication of why the TS is number that it is.

Edit.

No. I can see the Tx CTCSS is set.

Rx CTCSS may have a problem :-(

Yep.

There was a problem with the RxCTCSS.

I've removed some of my latest internal code changes and uploaded again.

So anyone who has already downloaded this version and has a problem with FM Rx, please download again
i'm trying this second version today ... i saw that you fixed the permanent storage of the channel name ... thanks
ciao Roger

Hi and thanks for all this development.

Yes, for me it is working, when SHORT PRESS sk2 + X(assigned button)

(it would be interesting also for the orange button menu options - dual watch)

In fact, it's not the SK2 shortpress which matters, it's down/up cycle time of the number key.
If you press the number key for too long, it triggers the QuickKey's reset event.

If you have hard time with longpress/shortup, you can increase the value of "Key long" in the "Options" menu, the default time value is 500ms.

Cheers.
