Not really, SK1 idea came afterVK3KYY wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 4:17 amI've merged Daniel's latest fix for BlueDV, and also done a temporary fix for the version not showing in PiStar.
I don't think there is any need to change PiStar to resolve the version number display, as the "description" which is reported to PiStar was already correct, i.e "OpenGD77 Hotspot vxx.yy.zz"
The problem was a biproduct of the changes to display the hotspot version when SK1 was pressed, which can be resolved so that PiStar does not need to be changed.

The main reason was to get some chance to make the MMDVMHost patch accepted (PR still open).
Cheers.

It is by design. It's called "promiscuous mode". While activated you will hear traffic on all active TGs on repeater (static and dynamic) and on hotspot (static and auto-static). Filtering will be available, but developers will decide when, according to importance of work to be done.
I was very happy (and a bit surprised) to see that PR merged in Jonathan's GitHub. Nice job!

Yeah, I raised it knowing I had next to zero chance, but he accepted, and that's really nice and cool
