A simple way to get a second radio for the same HotSpot. Adjust the TX frequency of the second radio - BER will be ideal 0.0%
Example: HotSpot GD77 - RXOffset 0, TXOffset 0 Radio TYT 2017 RX-144,550000MHz TX-144550010MHz = BER 0.0% (adjust the frequency terminal TX radio not HotSpot

BTW, you might be able to use both (all) of your DMR handhelds on hotspot... Find the ranges (lower and upper offset) in which each one work, then check for overlap and set accordingly.
That's what I did, and I was lucky enough to find out that all three of mine are very accurately on selected frequency.
Well, they might not overlap at all, but then you really need to open and adjust one of them.

Edit: Piotr, that's a good solution too.

If this is just a frequency offset problem. does changing the frequency of the GD-77 slightly, also fix the problem?

The other possibility is changing the master clock reference frequency in the calibration.

Perhaps we need a debug menu screen that allows some parameters to be adjusted from the radio rather than needing to keep re-uploading the calibration data to do any tests

Firstly, thank you to all of you who replied with some great suggestions.

I thought adjusting the frequency was easiest so started with that.

My hotspot runs at 434.300 (and that seems to match with 434.300 on the Anytone).

I did some trial and error moving the frequency up and down on the oGD-77 and at 434.29965 the stuttering problem seems to have completely gone! :D I'm fixed so very happy and grateful.

I guess the next step is to calibrate the oGD-77 so that I can have it on 434.300 and it matches the hotspot. I have no clue what I'm doing there, but will try and find posts in the forum to learn about it.

Meantime if anyone has any tips, I'm all ears.

I have the same problem with my MD-380

If I set the hotspot for the GD-77 it does not work for the MD-380

Set the hotspot again for the Anytone and then try changing the calibration of the master oscillator frequency

The value for the osc is 1000 if its exactly on frequency,I seen values from around 990 to 1010 in the calibration files people have sent me, so I don't think you need to change the setting very much
