I've done a temporary fix for this. I'm sure Daniel can improve on this, but I didn't have time to do a programatically tidy fix

If you create a PR, Andy normally processes it very quickly. Thats how I originally got the OpenGD77 DMR Hotspot added to the modem list.

BTW.

Daniel. Why did you change the ID. The simple fix for this is just to put 4 spaces before the ID.
I changed the ID to make it harmonized with all other MMDVM hotspots (OpenGD77_HS).
I've also raised a PR on G4KLX's MMDVMHost repo, and even if it's not accepted, Pi-Star users can still use (if they want) my Pi-Star Binaries repo (the procedure is fast and easy, and I also maintain both 3.4 and 4.x.RC versions).

Cheers.

OK.

Having a friendly name didn't seem to be a problem, but perhaps spaces should be avoided.

Should I withdraw the requests over at the PiStar forum (are we going to resolve this within the firmware itself)?
Yes.
Can you remove it.
Daniel or I can create a PR when the format of the description string has been clarified
OK... I've updated the items over there pending finalizing this area of the firmware.
