The channel TS override is working as intended for me. For our local turbo system (Rocky Mountain Ham Radio), I've got the TG's all set with channel TS override. When in a repeater channel, changing the TG in that TG list will cause the channel to change the TS depending on the override settings.

Hi roger, I will try to explain

in my tg list tg9 exists, in the digital contacts 'repeater slot' is disabled

in my channels list i have different channels assigned to tg9, most have repeater slot 2 but 1 has repeater slot 1
this is where it happens, pressing * changes all the channels to TS1 then * again changes them all to TS2

in the orange menu FILTER=TS (actually it doesnt matter if its TS or NONE, it still does it.

So once I have switched to TS1, all the channels go to TS1 then *, and all channels go to TS2

up and down through the channels makes no difference as it seems the TS channel settings are overwritten

however as I said earlier "# # # select alternative contact then green then right arrow....seems to reset it back to how it is in the channels

I hope that is as clear as mud ......lol

"pressing the Blue button to change to the TG and TS of the incoming signal will also remove the TS "
pressing the blue button on its own does nothing.

Ken

Ah OK.

This is by design.

Pressing up and down does not reset the TS override, because if you have multiple DMR repeaters in your area, people want to be able to select a TG and TS and then press the up and down arrows to cycle through and find the one which has the strongest signal

Only pressing Left and Right will reset the TS override.

However, I agree that we could add a key sequence to remove the override

ok thanks, the key sequence '# # # select alternative contact then green then right arrow' works for me, and I am probably the only one who would use it lol

Just right arrow when in DMR mode should do it.

Thats OK.

It has highlighted some things eg

A. Do we need to show when the TS is overridden by the Star key

and

Also that I can't get Long and short presses to work on the same key.

I've emailed Alex about this, because I think it has but in it at the moment as I'm getting long keypress followed by a short keypress notification when I do a long press.

I dont think its needed, but i don't know that much really

when i press and release up or down, it changes channels, when i hold the key down , it bleeps higher then scrolls through the channels with a lower bleep an each channel until I let go, so short and long certainly works on up/down
