Unlocking PTT with Blue+* only works, if the screen 'PTT locked' is displayed.
So to unlock you have to press PTT followed by Blue+*.

This can not be changed, as PTT lock is only to lock the PTT. All other functions work as normal. So Blue+* switches between FM and DMR.

The only possible 'fix' would be to change the key sequence to unlock PTT.

Ahh ok, additionally with PTT Key.

The display is only
"PTT Locked"
"Press Blue + * to unlock"
nothing from press PTT +

with 3 buttons, but that is not in the manual or here => https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=220#p1256

That's with 3 how it works!

Thx Alex

You should not need to press PTT+Blue+* at the same time.

- Press and release PTT -> Screen PTT locked
- Blue+* -> unlocked

Hi Guys,

As far as I wrote the PTT lockout, he works the following way:

<GREEN> + # = PTT lockout
<GREEN> + * = keypad lockout
<GREEN> + # then <GREEN> + * = locks PTT and Keypad
<BLUE> + * unlock everything

Maybe I'm missing a change in the codebase.

Cheers.

Umm.

I see what you mean.

If the keypad is not locked then Function + STAR does not unlock the PTT, it switches modes.

Even though this uses up a key combination, perhaps its best to change the PTT unlock to be Function + # to match how you lock the PTT using #
