[Fixed] Strange behavior with first digital contact
[Fixed] Strange behavior with first digital contact
Whenever I select the first digital contact from a list, such as pressing # 3 times or pressing sk2+#, it will show the talk group number on the channel screen instead of the name assigned to it. This will also happen if a call is received from this talk group.
And sometimes when selecting a contact by pressing # 3 times I get this (circled in red) on the screen.

Can you tell us the version of the firmware you are running ?KI5GZK wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:17 amWhenever I select the first digital contact from a list, such as pressing # 3 times or pressing sk2+#, it will show the talk group number on the channel screen instead of the name assigned to it. Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
I am currently running the latest development version (Oct 10 2020), but this issue goes back to many previous versions.
Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
Okay, thanks.
Other question, is it always the same display corruption (the line at the bottom of the 't'), or random pixels on the screen ?
Cheers.

Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
It's always the same corruption, but it seems to change position depending on the contact selected.
It kind of looks like a cursor.

Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
Is this the only time you've noticed it ? ie only when selecting a contact that way ?
Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
Ah, I was able to get that glitch, for a second.
It look like a screen area clearing problem, not a screen corruption.
Cheers.

Re: Strange behavior with first digital contact
Yes, that's the only time I see it, and it doesn't happen every time.
