Modified CC value is not read correctly by the CPS

Post by Ik0nwg » Tue Jul 14, 2020 6:25 pm

Change CC on a memory and save permanently with blue button + green button and the CC value remains in memory even when turning the radio back on. The bug occurs when I read the radio with CPS (CPS version of 13 July) because the CC changed in that memory is the old one and not the modified one. It is not a serious bug but if I save the file and then use it to reload it on the radio I find myself some invalid CC.
Thank you
ciao

Thanks Sal

I have tested and confirmed this bug.

The problem seems only to be changes to the CC... Which is very strange.

I wonder whether this has been a bug for a very long time, and no one noticed until now. I will try installing an old version version of the CPS, but I think it will probably also have the bug.

I've logged this as an issue on Github, so I won't forget about it, and I will try to investigate the problem this weekend if I have time.

PS. Melbourne is in lockdown again, including night curfew from 8pm to 5am, but this does not seem to give me more time, as my day-job work is taking longer due to problems with networking speed other factors.
So I think as a result I have less free time not more.

I guess for people who normally work in an office and are not at home with nothing to do, they have more spare time, but I am self employed, so always work from my home office.
