Hello, I am Sinan, TA1NVX. I am here to find a solution about strange problem. I have Anytone AT878UV, my friend has GD-77. When I TX in a digital simplex channel with my Anytone radio, he can hear me clearly. But when he tries try to TX with GD-77, I hear his voice some kind of scrambled/encrypted or in a distorted way. We tried to turn off encryption type from "Basic" to "None" on Gd-77 from CPS, but nothing has changed.
GD-77 has official firmware version 3.1.3. I want to upgrade it to latest Open GD-77. Maybe it can help. Any help or solution ideas are appreciated. Thank you, 73!

Thank you! Problem solved when I uploaded latest Open GD-77 firmware. It's a great firmware but because I need to listen 2 frequencies at the same time I had to turn back to official firmware again. Latest version of official firmware also solved the problem.
