Ciao a tutti

Post by IU1MCR » Sun Mar 15, 2020 4:38 pm

Bad times in Italy (and not only …) but we can only wait and hope for the best ;)
My name is Eugenio (71 years old) and I live in Novara, near Milano.
I've got my A license last year (never say never) and after a first experience with Radioddity RD-5R (DMR is :x )
i have at last got GD-77 with OpenGD77 … "e uscimmo a riveder le stelle (Dante)"
Now i am waiting OpenRD5R :D

Welcome Eugenio

I have a RD-5R, and it has very similar hardware to the GD-77, but unfortunately the display is different and I have no data for its connections or programming

Also the RD-5R does not have some arrow keys and not so many buttons on the side of the radio, so it would be difficult to make the firmware usable on this radio.
