Hello,
My name is Jeff Hochberg (W4JEW). I live in Atlanta, GA. I became a ham in 2015 (originally KM4KPI) and upgraded to General in 2016 which is where I sit today.
I've been heavily involved with DMR after determining that D-STAR wasn't for me. Since then, I've spent the vast majority of my time focused on DMR.
I started a website called GeorgiaDMR.net as well as a Groups.io group (GeorgiaDMR) back in November 2019. My elmer and I hold a weekly net on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM Eastern time on TG 3113.
Our weekly net is not only for residents for the State of Georgia rather we are open to any licensed amateur radio user anywhere in the world as long as they have an interest in DMR.

Sorry for the plug! I can't resist myself!
I just bought a Radioddity GD-77 last weekend specifically for using OpenGD77. I installed the custom firmware within about 5 minutes of taking the radio out of the box and am having a blast with it! The GD-77 joins my existing investment in DMR radios including a Motorola MOTOTRBO XPR 7550, Hytera PD782Gi, Hytera PD362i, AnyTone AT-D878UV, AnyTone AT-D578UV, and there might be one or two others I'm forgetting! LOL
I am also the Journalist for the Georgia chapter of the Southeastern Repeater Association (SERA).
Thanks for allowing me to participate in the forum!
