Hello! I received my Baofeng DM-1701 this last Thursday and after a bit of struggling with USB drivers, got it flashed and installed a codeplug I had whipped up earlier in the week.

It’s been one of my favorite handie talkie experiences ever. Once I got the hang of the menus, it’s been a real joy to use. It’s also my first DMR radio, and I’ve already used it to check into the local coffee net (and can hit my local 440 DMR repeater with 0.5 watts).

Thanks for this community and the firmware. Looking forward to where it heads in the future.
