Hello. Wa1gjf, Leeds in RI. Still learning the complexities of GD77 radios, along with opengd77's. Please bear with me as I wade through the correct answers to my questions!

Welcome to the project.
Be sure to also use the OpenGD77 CPS to program the radio. They go together.
You'll find this approach much more friendly for ham use than the original channel oriented firmware that the manufacturer loads the radio with.
They are good radios, the OpenGD77 is pretty reliable, and the feature set is unmatched. A testimony to open technology.
