OpenGD77

Greetings all,

Name is Ron, been using DMR for about 2 yrs mostly in the TYT sphere on NEDECN. I actually had a GD77 a year ago and donated it to our club ham fest. Saw one on Amazon last week and the rest is history. Sat down this weekend to program it and the only starter codeplug for my area was NEDECN website soooooooooo....OPENGD77 here I come! Was a little anxious on the whole FW update thing because of the excitement I had with TYT.

I am happy to report the OPENGD77 sw suite is great! Both FW and plug installs went smooth AND actually matched the documentation!

I’m hoping to gain knowledge of the details of OPGD77 thru this group.

The documentation is slightly out of date. I think there are a few small features that are not documented.

We'll eventually get around to updating the User Guide, but normally the firmware and CPS development take priority, and I simply forget to update the User Guide.

I should probably post to the forum, and get people to tell me whats missing from the User Guide
