My name is Nick (VA3NDP) I’ve been a ham operator for almost 25 years. I’m just getting into DMR fairly heavily now and I have a few radios I’m tinkering with. One is baofeng DM-x and the other is a Motorola CP200D and yea I do have a Motorola licence and licensed software.
Reason I joined the group is my new Rd-5r will be arriving next week and I want to learn all I can about the OpenGD77 as it looks like it’s the way I’m going to go vs Stock software / firmware.
I just want to make sure and check with you guys (the experts) to make sure my favourite features won’t be eliminated with the upgrade.
