Hello every one just registered to say hi and thanks for the open GD77 firmware. It really makes the GD-77 friendly to us visually impaired Hams.

Welcome...

BTW. I'm working on the problem with the difficulty in knowing the battery level,

Low Batter warning audio prompt and beeps will be added today, and I'm working on a button sequence (probably SK2 + Orange) to immediately announce the battery percentage).

Unfortunately most other / easy button combinations are already used, and I don't want to use SK2 + NUMBER KEY, as these will eventually be customisable in the CPS

Quick question is there a link to where I can easily read about new changes to the firmware? I’m currently running I beleave one dated for the 22nd or 23rd of July.

Thanks I’m still green when it comes to github. So it tough for me to find my way around it.

No need to go to github, the standalone loader and the loader in the CPS both automatically download from github

Sadly not for me. I’m a Mac user so I’m having to run the software under a very out of date version of windows in a virtual machine. With internet access to the VM blocked. Which is ok I only update if I hear of a new feature or a bug fix that I really need.
