Re: TX on FRS frequencies?
FRS is a license free, FM only (no DMR) low power radio service for personal usage in the USA. It requires the use of type accepted equipment. Once you've replaced the firmware, you've lost any type acceptance that the hardware may have been granted for this service by the FCC. I'd recommend use of ...

Re: DMR issue, red flashes and does ne tx
Repeater offsets vary in different countries. In the USA, if it's a UHF repeater, it's generally +5Mhz. If VHF is is + or - 600khz. Most repeater owners publish their input and output frequencies as well as color code they use, and time slots being supported (with the associated static talkgroups) w...

Re: Unable to load DM-1801 Unstable Firmware with CPS Loader
Please, someone post a copy of a working DM-1801 calibration page for UHF and VHF.
Both my radios have failed, so something in the calibration must be causing the problem.
The failure is occurring on both stock and OpenDM1801 firmware so I doubt it's in the firmware code itself.

Re: Unable to load DM-1801 Unstable Firmware with CPS Loader
Both of my DM-1801 radios may have also experienced damage to their calibration. A few months ago, I reported very low modulation on DMR and very noisy white noise under the voice. This remains the case with these radios. Today, I restored the factory firmware, and they both still have the problem. ...

Unable to load DM-1801 Unstable Firmware with CPS Loader
While the stable firmware will load successfully, the unstable 6/10/2020 and 6/11/2020 firmware will not load on my DM-1801. The dialog issues an error: "Wrong Model"... This is with 5/4/2020 stable firmware in the radio. I can load it with the standalone firmware loader. Once the updated unstable f...

DM1801 Re: Voice prompts
The DM1801 unstable firmware of 5/10 doesn't load onto my radio. It's giving a "wrong device" error when I try.
Is this me, or a build error?

Re: Voice prompts
Roger, I see this added in the 6/10 development firmware; "Added feature to terminate voice prompt playback on the Channel and VFO screens if SK1 (Black button on the GD-77) is pressed while the voice prompt is playing." How do you restore voice prompt playback on the Channel and VFO screens if SK1 ...
