Re: "Official firmware can be reloaded into the radio"??
It is often possible to restore the factory firmware without using a backup, so it is worth trying if you need to do it. I have done it many times during development. However strange things can sometimes happen, such as missing icons or password locking. Password locking is easily overcome but missi...

Re: RT3S freezes when use SK2 + SELECT
I think he is refering to SK2 + Rotary. That changes zone directly.
I have just tried it and it works fine here. So it sounds like a codeplug problem.
The special 'All channels' zone is the last to be selected so it could be there is a bad channel causing this.
Colin.

Re: Is thier a way to scan the TG list that is on a channel?
With OpenGD77 firmware you do not need to scan talkgroups.
With 'DMR Filter' set to 'Off' (the default setting) you radio will already be receiving all talkgroups. This is known as Promiscuous mode on some other radios.

Re: Is thier a way to scan the TG list that is on a channel?
As Roger says, your question doesn't appear to make sense. Which talkgroup you hear is determined by the 'DMR Filter' setting. By default this is 'Off' which means you will hear any, and all, talkgroups on the frequency. You can optionally restrict reception to only the selected talkgroup by setting...

Re: Need help with Retevis RT3S
It could be the microphone socket has failed when you plugged in the programming cable to do the update and the internal microphone is no longer connected.
If you have an external speaker / microphone then try that.

Re: MD-9600 / RT-90 Installation
Sounds like a hardware failure.
Bad external speaker jack, try with an external speaker. This is a known failure point.
Broken speaker cable or connector.
Bad connection on front panel ribbon cable.

Yes, there was a rounding bug in a previous CPS but that was fixed a few weeks back.

Re: Adding Channels To Codeplug
The two columns on the left of the screen show two different things. The first column is a count of the total number of channels used. The second column is the actual channel location used. It is possible (and normal) to have gaps in the channel numbers used. In your example the 634th channel is in ...

Re: no port available with CPS R2023.11.26.01 and GD77 Radioddity radio
It does not matter what firmware is loaded to your radio. The merge is done in the CPS before it is downloaded and this only works with the stated firmware version. You never need to load that version into your radio, it is only needed by the CPS. If you follow the installation procedures completely...

Re: no port available with CPS R2023.11.26.01 and GD77 Radioddity radio
Have you loaded the OpenGD77 firmware into the radio from the extras/firmware loader menu as detailed in the instructions?
The Com port will not appear until this has been done. The CPS cannot be used with the original manufacturers firmware.
Loading the firmware does not use the com port.
