Re: Experimental versions to fix potential speaker hiss

Not dissatisfied, but just pointing out what I have noted compared to the 26 Feb release that I was using previously. My post wasn’t intended as a criticism. I always turn the beep volume as low as possible because I don’t personally find keypad beeps useful as the physical keypad feedback clicks ar...

Re: Experimental versions to fix potential speaker hiss

I’m experiencing a strange click in the speaker ever time I TX on DMR. I think this might be related to the TX beep tone that’s been added in recent releases, but I have the beep volume set at -24dB in the options menu. Despite this the speaker gives an irritating click on each start of TX. The prev...

Re: Experimental version with option to disable CC filtering

Very useful addition Roger.

As you say, many people may never want or need to use this feature, but it’s very useful for the ones of us that do.

The new version dated 23 Feb is working well for me.

Thanks

Re: Increasing the size of the DMR ID database?

Hi Roger,

Is the DMRID database wiped completely each time it is updated, or is new data added to existing data?
I’m in favour of increasing the size of storage if it doesn’t impact performance.
I’d personally not want to go back to official firmware.

Thanks

Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?

4639 is talkgroup 91 worldwide
I don’t think 3100 has a reflector on brandmeister.
Thanks

Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?

My local repeaters do everything on TG9 only. They only supports BM reflector numbers and no direct talkgroup access. It does however mean that talkgroups that have no associated reflector cannot be accessed at all. I understand that one such talkgroup is 3100 as I cannot find a reflector for this. ...

Re: Increasing the size of the DMR ID database?

I’ve never actually uploaded a DMRID database and just use TA at present.

How many DMRID’s can you store currently?

Thanks

Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?

I’ve spent quite a lot of time trying to create a zone for my local repeater containing all the brandmeister reflectors that I might want to switch to and use. Thus far I have failed to do it successfully. At the moment when I want to switch to another reflector on the local repeater, I have to pres...
