Re: Ability to open the squelch of CTCSS or DCS is enabled??

I suggest putting this on long hold of orange since sk2 needs to be held down for other functions such as changing power or mode. I had it on hash in my own br...

Re: Ability to open the squelch of CTCSS or DCS is enabled??

SK1 is used by the Voice prompts and also for reverse repeater, so I don't know if overloading that button would be practical. I'm still unsure about why just reducing the squelch to zero could not be used to override the CTCSS etc, which is what I proposed some time ago, but was told was not a goo...

Re: Building doc for OpenGD77 way of doing Talkgroups etc

I have also found that giving EACH timeslot of a repeater it's own channel to be VERY useful and makes codeplug construction very logical. There are several reasons why this makes sense to me. Among the many reasons I do my codeplugs this way - It makes the results of scanning logical AND immediatel...

Re: New owner/user - initial impressions

Hi Darrin; I'm also new to the project, this week in fact. I managed to do the firmware install (FirmwareLoader-Linux.exe) under mono (archlinux conversion of an x86_64 chromebook), the codeplug creation et al in opengd77cps.exe under wine (same laptop), and moving codeplugs back and forth to the ra...
