With the latest firmware release private call reception is now consistent with the DMR filter setting.
With DMR filter turned OFF you will hear all private calls.
With DMR filter set to TG or TGL you will only hear private calls addressed to your ID.

Re: Pulling my hair out over CSV import
You just beat me to it Roger! I can confirm that channel 551 has an invalid Tx Frequency. Remove the extra ' and it will be OK. There is no need to surround the numbers with quotes, but it doesn't do any harm. They must however only contain numeric characters or the conversion to frequencies will fa...

Re: time slot 1 or 2?
I don't fully understand your question. If you are asking about simplex operation then OpenGD77 only supports basic DMO mode. In this mode the signal contains no timeslot information, so the setting is not important. DMO mode only supports one conversation per frequency. Timeslot setting is only imp...

STE is not implemented in OpenGD77. This may change in the future but it is currently an extremely low priority.

Re: UV-380 corrupted
It definitely sounds like a hardware problem with the RF Chip. It seems it is not locking on the lower frequencies. Strange that it works on the original firmware but they may of course be programming it slightly differently. The code used for this chip is well tested on several different radio type...

Re: Setting HX8353-E to sleep mode
The error correction is part of the AMBE voice frames and is encoded and decoded by the codec. So you are seeing the raw data before it has been error corrected. As far as I know the error corrected voice data is not visible outside the codec (which we do not have the source for). I believe the publ...

Re: CALL DATA ERROR
Are you sure you are loading the correct version of firmware for your radio? The error message can occur if you have loaded the wrong radio type.

Re: RT3S w/ GPS automatically transmitting when scanning DMR channels
I can't reproduce this and I don't remember it being reported by anyone else.
Can you please describe exactly what you are seeing.
What makes you think it is transmitting?
What does the display show when this happens?
Does the scan stop or does it continue?

Re: Spontaneous Transmissions - MD-9600
Thanks for the feedback Tom. From when I was involved in the network administration I do remember such 'Ghost' transmission occurring sometimes. I can't remember the exact cause though. I don't know if you can easily update your hotspot firmware, but if that is possible then it might be worth doing....

Re: Spontaneous Transmissions - MD-9600
Hearing the 'Unlinked' message does not confirm the radio is actually transmitting. It just means the network thinks that you have. As I said before MMDVM has been known to generate ghost signals without actually receiving anything. You are using a simplex hotspot so there is no handshaking with the...
