Re: Voice prompts
I missed that one somewhere along the line. I do remember Gremlins, Back To the Future, Ghost Busters, Tron...
but not Max Headroom.

Re: GD77, Fresh Battery, and Distorted Audio
Also, some GD77's have quite audible CPU noise on RX, and a constant clicking sound (about every 100ms) on analog TX.
Mine doesn't do this, but I have heard it on three others.
Again, I don't know if this can be addressed/filtered in firmware or not.

GD77, Fresh Battery, and Distorted Audio
I'm just an end user, so I have no idea if this can be addressed or filtered in software somehow. There seems to be quite a bit of distortion on the speaker audio, depending on the voltage of the battery. It seems to be at it's worst when the battery is fully charged until maybe around 7.5 volts, wh...

Re: Voice prompts
"Max Headroom’ effect?" What is that? I'm not sure if this is just something peculariar about the voice I'm using, but there's a big peak in the voice on some syllables. For example, go to Options and let the first item read, "time out beep, not appolicable". There's a big distorted peak on "not". I...

GD77 OPENING TONES
For those who want to mess about with the GD77 start up tones, launch the OpenGD77 CPS, go to the Extras Menu with ALT+E, then O for Open GD77 Support. SHIFT+TAB a couple times and you will discover an edit field with some numbers in it and a Play Tune button. The numbers are read as comma-delimited...

Re: Voice prompts
Apologies for posting this elsewhere, before discovering this topic. Is anybody else hearing double-triggered speech as they arrow through Options, Sound Options, and Display Options? I hear the message once as I press the Up or Down Arrow key in, and again as I release it. I'm not noticing this any...
