Re: New Beta version 2022 11 18
AFAIK this will make anyone using multiple radios not not work anymore, or am I wrong? Like Anytone 878 I've always heard to use "Chinese Radio", GD-77 was also on the "Chinese Radios" list. Any idea if that will make other radios no longer work (for SMS I assume) I have multiple Motorolas and I'm ...

Select radio Brand as ETSI This will then allow the "In Call GPS" option to be enabled AFAIK this will make anyone using multiple radios not not work anymore, or am I wrong? Scanning was already quite fast, it's faster now? Wow. I've tried to time mine before and it goes so fast it wasn't even going to be accurate. I have 66 channels in a FM repeater zone and it's around 1 second.

Re: GD77 Not Powering On - Fixed
I purchased a non working GD77 from EBay for a low bid. That also had a blown fuse but in my case it was caused by a short circuit capacitor on the board. Took a little while to find but since replacing it the radio has been working fine. Colin G4EML. Do you remember what cap ? Can't seem to find o...

Re: last heard
Oops, I was confused when I looked, I knew the TS was there.. but I think I had been looking at my hotspot and maybe it didn't show up then, but it showed up when I looked today on a repeater.

https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_UserGuide/blob/master/OpenGD77_User_Guide.md#last-heard Holding the blue button shows the talkgroup. Not sure why you'd need CC, that isn't going to change on a given repeater/hotspot/etc. Timeslot would be useful, however, for some reason I thought this was adde...

Re: New GD77 Beta - August 16 2022
I haven't been really active on DMR for a few weeks, casually listening a little but not really any QSOs, today I heard a guy asking for a signal report so I grabbed the radio and we chatted for a bit. His audio sounded really odd, so I had him chasing things like overloading his mmdvm, mic gain, et...

Re: Flaws with new versions (scan/recognising burst)
People posted multiple bug reports of this miss-identification, and the firmware had to be changed a lot to go back to using the DMR hardware as it was intended to be used by the manufacturer The downside of this was that it now takes a long time to lock on to a DMR signal to 100% identify its ID a...

Re: baofeng 1801 vs. gd77 volume speaker
Heck, I have two GD77's. They both have very different volume outputs. I have to turn one down about 10% lower than the other for equal volume.
