Re: Listening to the same TG in all TGs :-)

Hi,

Click the top orange button and then scroll up to Filter: CC,TS (I believe this is the default setting)

Click the right arrow key and that should add TG.

Now you will be filtering for color code, time slot, and talkgroup.

Re: Update 6th March Version 2

Hi Roger, I installed the 3_6_2020 firmware release with the new CPS into one of my GD-77 radios and it went in fine. Before this version, I could hear a very soft digital noise in the background during the playback when doing a Parrot check. I don't hear a trace of that with this version so perhaps...

Re: Update 1st March

Thank you Roger! I installed the "stable" version into both of my GD77 radios and both are behaving nicely. When I get my chores done today I'll install the experimental into one of the radios and play around with that. Thanks for all the features and for all the time you are investing in the organi...

Re: Increasing the size of the DMR ID database?

I like the idea of expanding the DMR-ID storage capabilities even if it means not having an easy path back to the "official" Radioddity firmware. I currently use the 6 character download option to store the the full 2 x 3 callsigns (sorry about the 2 x 4 Australian format) and the 26k storage capabi...

Re: Update 21st Feb

The 2/21/2020 release is working fine with both of my radios. No digital bursts while listening through my zumspot or while scanning several local repeaters.

Nicely done! 73, Rob W1AEX

Re: Experimental version to help DMR breakup

Roger and Colin, I loaded this version into one of my GD77 radios and will compare it to my other GD77 that has 2-16-2020 loaded. In theory this experimental version sure seems like a great idea. I wonder if it will help in a case where running through a hotspot a few packets are lost here and there...

Re: Update 16th Feb

Hi Roger,

I installed the 2_16_2020 version into both of my radios and the digital noise anomalies from the previous release are no longer present. The current "latest" is working beautifully with both radios.

Re: Update 15th Feb

I also hear what Tony has reported on incoming private calls such as Parrot or TG4000. A soft digital burst for roughly a second when Parrot or TG4000 make the return call. I do not hear it on regular DMR chit-chat. I also find that while scanning DMR the radio will sometimes stop on a busy channel ...

Re: Update 9th Feb

Running smoothly on both of my radios. Nice to have the display options to control the display lines. I've been running Auto and it seems to work fine.

Re: Update 7th Feb

Roger,

I loaded this on my two GD77 radios and it's running fine on both. Good idea moving the Cc, DB, TA setting to Display Options. I would vote to forget the 5++ watt setting but that's just me being conservative and also wondering about signal purity.

Looks like a fine release.
