Re: Diagram of DM-1701
The radio was bought at least 3 years ago and not by me, so contact with the seller is impossible. All you have to do is try on your own. That's why I'm looking for the same radio, but with factory F/W, maybe it could be copied from flash memory and uploaded to the damaged one.

Re: Aliexpress opengd77
After connecting to the computer, the radio is visible in the device manager, but the factory CPS does not see it. CPS OpenGD77 obviously sees the radio. In this situation, it is not possible to upload the factory firmware. When asked about the possibility of returning to the factory F/W, the seller...

Re: DM-1701 screen clipping
I have two such radios and on one of them I did as in the description and it actually looks much better. This top bar on the screen can now be seen very clearly. Thank you for your help, the description was very useful.

Re: DM-1701 screen clipping
As I see, nothing has changed on this topic. I even thought about a solution to mechanically move the display down. Usually, you look down at the screen and then the top bar is effectively covered, which is partly inconvenient and requires looking from the bottom, i.e. tilting the radio away from you.

Re: Aliexpress opengd77
I have no doubt that OpenGD77 is indisputably better than the original. I already have this software in GD77, RD5R and of course DM1701. The purpose of returning to the original software in DM1701 is related to an attempt to repair a model that was damaged when the original software was upgraded. Th...

Re: Hum (interference) in DM-1701
Charging the battery has no effect on these sound effects, but when the backlight is at 100%, this unwanted sound is almost inaudible. Only when you reduce the backlight does this effect become more audible. So the reason is the display operation.

Hum (interference) in DM-1701
Recently I noticed a problem with the DM-1701 radio, because when I mute the radio completely and it receives the correspondent's signal, there is a humming noise in the background. Of course, you can hear it by putting your ear to the speaker or listening with headphones. Naturally, as the volume i...

Diagram of DM-1701
I am looking for a diagram for DM-1701 or its equivalent, because I have the impression that there is a hardware failure. After the first upgrade, still with the original firmware, the radio stopped transmitting and receiving on the set frequencies. I made various attempts with no success. Now, afte...

Re: Aliexpress opengd77
Is it possible to restore such a radio from Ali... with the OpenGD77 software loaded by them to the factory software? I ordered two such radios from them, but the original software was supposed to be left in one of them, of course they didn't understand and installed OpenGD in both of them.
