turned it off and on and then it was ok

after a few hours I tried again. It came up working for a few strokes then locked

I put the new software in, and so far I have NOT been able to get it to lockup like it did with the old one. A repeatable lockup by just turning it on and off. So I have 2 gd77s and will let one stay off and see if it comes back at all

Tried this on both my gd77s. First boot still locked. Immediately second boot holding a Key down. I use arrow key. All is well. Tried this multiple times and it’s repeatable. Good news I have it work after only 1 reboot every time this way

I changed the modem protocol from 4fsk raised cosine to just 4fsk. Do not know how to do this on other systems like my mmdvm based hotspots. Then i slightly upped the inner deviation to 655 from 648. Both my. gd77s no longer have the problem. It’s definitely a work around till a solution is found

I was wondering if you are getting this while using a hotspot and if so which Hotspot. I have a work around if it is a open spot
