Is there any intention to continue this wonderful project?
It may be that those who understand English more comfortably have been able to be clear about how we have this problem. Those of us who don’t speak the language end up (and I speak for myself) not understanding where we are. I understand that an initial mistake in how the license was understood, has...

Re: OFF topic... (or not)
I also think that if you could find an economical walkie capable of processing codec2 it would be a shock. Right now I think most radio amateurs are disappointed with the policy that the big companies in this world have. Some make D-stars, Fusion ... and, above all, do not let rivals use their techn...

Re: new dmr mobile radio Retevis RT73
The rt73 opens easily, and closes with many problems. There are 4 nuts hidden under some adhesive labels on the top and bottom, and once you remove them the equipment is in two parts. However, the union cables are very short, which makes it very difficult to connect them again, it takes a lot of pat...

Re: new dmr mobile radio Retevis RT73
Yesterday I received an RT73. It's a well-built, compact radio that seems to work relatively well. I have a uhf DMR repeater about 80km from home that reaches me very marginally. With the GD77 it is impossible to hear it with the base antenna, although if I receive it in very specific places on the ...

Re: Helicopter background TX noise in DMR mode
Hi Roger Surely the pattern will be the same with the internal or external microphone, possibly only vary the intensity of it. This pattern will have to do with the TDMA frame in terms of frequency. So I think if it works for an external mic, where it’s easier for it to appear, it will also work wit...

Re: Helicopter background TX noise in DMR mode
I have an original radioditty microphone, which does this effect. The problem is not with the device and less with the firmware. The problem is the poor quality of the microphone that picks up the TDMA modulated rf, which makes a pulsating effect. If you decrease the power the effect is attenuated. ...
