I just tried this version during the usual route where I get several BS with small, marginal signals.
The reception is very good, with levels below -115dBm on screen. There are cuts, of course, but overall it works quite well.

At what point was the s-meter in dmr added all the time to RX?

I've seen it with this version but before had always seen a -164dBm signal if no DMR signal was present.
