Re: Alpha version available for download

Hi, am I the only one noticing it but on my RT90 with the new version from 31.3.2022 when the carrier drops on DMR the S-Meter bar across the screen does not always return to the normal condition about half way across the screen but stays at full screen width even though the carrier is no longer the...

Re: CPS Keyboard Commands

Hi Jim, most of the keyboard shortcuts are standard windows things like TAB to move between items and ENTER to select an item or button as used in the tutorials and with which blind hams are normally very familiar. However as you have seen there are a few special shortcuts where the standard ones wo...

Re: CPS Keyboard Commands

Your friend should download my package for the blind which explains how to access everything you need with tutorials both as pdf files and m3 files.
You can download the package from the link below.

Re: TYT MD-9600 / Retevis RT-90 : Experimental version

With the backlight dimmed I hear it too but only on FM not on DMR with my RT-90. I think it might indeed be a good idea to turn off the display on transmit when the brightness has been set to less than 100%.

Re: GD-77 Will Not Transmit to Repeaters

Greetings, all. My GD-77 will not transmit in digital mode on a repeater channel, or any channel in which the TX and Rx frequency are not the same. The red Tx light flashes briefly and the radio transmits shorts bursts with each flash until it times out. Analog FM is ok. The calibration data at fla...

Re: Possible bricked GD77...help needed.

I have now updated my copy of the OpenGD77 User guide to reflect the new method of updating firmware. https://github.com/g4eml/OpenGD77_UserGuide/blob/master/OpenGD77_User_Guide.md I have submitted this to Roger for inclusion in the official version. https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_UserGuide/b...

Re: Recent versions of firmware will be removed

As long as the source code stays open so that I can make my own changes on my own, and so can we all, I'm satisfied. Literally the only thing I objected to, on the basis of my own copyright, is that you stopped sharing the code but kept sharing the firmware, and since you shared the code I no longe...

Re: Scan speed versus sensitivity

Hi Roger,

you have probably already noticed but the scan step voicing in v3 doesn't voice scan step and says for example 30dmb instead of 30 milli-seconds.
