Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/23][GD-77]

In your search you have 126 to 128 in it. I have also tested it down to cb radio. Was that intention of yours? I'll assume you mean the search range? If so, that would be from programming on your end of how you've used the radio. After you select the ranges you want, it'll stay on that every time b...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]

Hi Mike, Thanks great work runs stable for several day now. The only thing I miss is the double push orange button to start scan, which was in 1.60, not a big deal, but convenient in the dark as the orange is easier to find than green. Hello! Double pushing orange still enables and initiates scan. ...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/19][GD-77]

I always use the "development" branch which has the latest and the greatest code on the experimental level. I will typically post about the stability of the firmware if it's not so stable. Which usually is never the case. Thanks... I like the interface version you modified. One question that I alwa...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]

I hope to build on the 1801 at some point! I have to update and adjust code changes for other radios. The power levels coding is very adapted to the GD-77, and would require some tweaking for the 1801 and others. Maybe I can borrow my friends 1801 for testing. I am enjoying these changes ! (They wou...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]

Sorry I just meant in practise - like from a documentation point of view. How is it operationally different ? Menus are arranged differently, some are named slightly different. There are added shortcuts to the main menus. Added steps for certain feature like beep volume, since even the lowest by de...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]

Where can I find the operational (and other) differences for this fork. I have everything on github, though not of the very latest code. I will update that soon. I also don't merge the code properly to github. So you would need to use something like Beyond Compare to see the differences in my code ...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/19][GD-77]

Here's the latest build with various fixes. I would deem this stable by the quick usage of it between last night and this morning.
