The Star Wars boot screens are great. Does anyone want to take a crack at creating a Mandalorian boot screen? "This is the way- OpenGD77" :)

Re: New to DMR; need a little help understanding some basics

I agree that on a simplex hotspot, the thing to do is to disconnect the TG (using the BM API tool in pi-star, for example) before keying up the new TG. I suspect that with the short hold-off timer, busy TGs like 91 become re-active before they die out (after 15 minutes) if you're just listening to ...

Roger, just to let you know: the user manual, at usual link on github, seems to be still in the previous version. I don't think the PDF is getting updated that often because its difficult to create at PDF. I think Angelo is only able to update the readme.md web page https://github.com/rogerclarkmel...

Re: Talker Alias note

It is right if you use the Brandmeister TA displays the Call and the name , I tryed in simplex ;) OK. I don't think Daniel, Alex or I have a radio which will send TA (unless we write a TA Tx facility into the OpenGD77). That would be great if the GD-77 could be made to TX TA data. I wish all DMR ra...

Re: New to DMR; need a little help understanding some basics

Ok I've got some clarification from Rudy on how this is set up. It seems that US masters are different with the longer hold-off timer. The advice from the BM core team is to have this set for 15 seconds, so perhaps that is how it is set for 5051. Who is the sysop? Maybe we could ask them.
