Hi,
Like any other platforms: whatever percent, no timeout.
You can also have it dim after the timeout (to save the battery): just set de Min Bright value.
Cheers.

Re: GD-77 Please help - Radio hangs permanently
Yes, but I had to fix 2 GD-77 because the guys has done a factory reset. I've also done that, just to confirm, but I can't remember the FW version (fw years back). As Dieter started to mention doing so, I'd prefer to trigger a warning. So, the rule of thumb is: don't do that, it's bad ;) and it's un...

Re: 1701 Timeout on pressing the PTT
Hi Daniel, Don't know what the traffic for the other modes is on the repeater. As I have mentioned the radio displays timeout 1 second after I press the PTT. I have not been able to use the Echo/ Parrot to even test the raio till now. I have attached the current code plug I am using. Thanks, Ram Ok...

Hi,
Beware, listening D-Star in FM mode is pretty tricky, it hard to hear it in the noise.
Cheers.

Re: GD-77 Please help - Radio hangs permanently
Hi, I would add à reminder here: Never do à factory reset on GD-77/DM-1801/RD-5R, depending on the official (manufacturer) firmware, it will kill the protection bytes and turn the radio into something you cannot flash anymore unless you flash a modified bootloader using a hardware programmer. Cheers...

Re: MD-9600 Hotspot Mode / ghetto repeater
Hi,
You just need the mini-USB cable to make it work with MMDVM, Pi-Star, BlueDV.
Cheers.

Re: 1701 Timeout on pressing the PTT
Hi, Better to share your codeplug, as no channel details are available here, except the color code. Also, I see it's a multi-protocol, and your RSSI bar shows some level. Are you sure that it's not currently "heavily" used in any other mode (D-Star/etc) ? As, such repeater will switch to other mode ...

Re: GD-77 Please help - Radio hangs permanently
Hi, Hello dear radio friends, After I had to take a longer break, I dug out my GD-77 devices again. While reading the latest news, I realised that my firmware and software for programming are very old. I wanted to bring this up to date and downloaded the new firmware from Radioddity (Ham version) an...

Re: GD-77 Please help - Radio hangs permanently
The safe power on option may be set. This prevents the radio from being accidentally turned on. Hold SK1 while powering on in this condition. You can then change the Safe Power On option in the general options menu. Personally I think this option is more trouble than it is worth but I guess someone...

Re: Not responding error for opengd77
Use the right cable, there is no USB to serial adapter in the GD77 one.
