Re: Larger memory

Weird thing happen. if I set display option to display contact to 2 lines. every time the radio heard a station it will change the Color Code and stop the audio output, because the transmitting station is not on that Color code it had changed to. Thank you, that's the answer I wanted.
I am at +22 (-128/+128) in vhf and also at +22 in uhf.
According to my SDR I have +700 Hz in UHF and +400 Hz in VHF.
Is your SDR calibrated?

IMO all you can use an SDR for is to compare frequencies, but won't know the absolute value

That’s terrific! Congratulations!

What is the change in memory? How many contacts before and after!
All possible contacts. RadioID lists about 250k contacts, 16Mb can store 350k+ with maximum details

Re: Non-ascii characters garbled in CPS UI

If this is the case, could you please replace "gb2312" with "latin1" in the CPS code so that the characters that happen to be supported by the firmware actually work in the CPS? Also, I believe the CSV import issue that SA0BUX is having is not related to character encoding but probably field delime...

Re: Larger memory

RT-3S contains 16Mb Flash memory not 8Mb In fact all STM32 CPU radios currently have 16Mb Flash memory GD77 and RD5R have 1Mb The old DM1801 has 2MB. The other variants show in the list are for people who have modified their radios over the years, or had custom/special versions from TYT etc The data...

Re: Non-ascii characters garbled in CPS UI

In general only A-Z , a-z,0-9 characters are supported by the firmware , and hence the CPS

Thanks for your quick response, but how to change the value in the tyt9600 or computer in the cps?
There is no longer the frequency calibration offset in the fw opengd77. Just the power adjustment.
There are multiple pages of the calibration screen, use. SK2 + Down / Up

Re: New Beta 2024 03 29

I was told that on the latest firmware The fan no longer works In the hotspot mode on high power.I do not know if this is true or not as I have not tested it What you have been told is wrong. There is no CPU control of the fan in this radio. i.e It's not that the firmware doesn't control the fan; t...

Re: VOX tail for packet mode

If only one value in NVRAM is stored for VOX tail, would switching from Packet to Voice mode force values below 0.5s to be defaulted to 0.5s and values in between the .5s be rounded? Or would it be reasonable to just allow 100ms steps on both Voice and Packet modes, with the only effects of Packet ...
