Re: several bug in latest opengd77

The displayed TS is the one you will transmit on, BUT if you change the channels setting and a TS override is set, the displayed TS won't change, as override takes priority. Turn the Options -> Display options -> Info to TS or Both, it will display the TS using bold font when a manual override is s...

Re: GD-77 maximum charge 88% ?

What charger are you using? If it's the stock GD77 charger they wildly vary from 8.2v to 8.6v (!), which is why a lot of people switch out the guts for TP5100's.

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

Do I need to run my duplex hotspot in simplex mode to fix these issues? I have run those test before and still nothing. When you ask I was wondering if there was another test that may be different. When you suggested calibration, I thought you were referring to something different that I hadn't run...

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

What tools do you use. Give me some ideas please! My other Radioddity GD-77 receives same conversation just fine. Did the radio with OpenGD77 also work fine on the hotspot before? If so maybe you've lost calibration in it itself or just need to tweak it. Reference oscillator tuning in OpenGD77 is w...

Re: Stable release (2022 02 28)

Well I guess I will just have to mark it off on my receive because of my duplex hot spot I guess. A lot of incoming transmissions are robotic sounding or quiet. I either have to do a channel up and down or have my talking party repeat themselves. Does anyone know a work around for this? I have test...

Re: Missing features in OpenCPS

You can't reassign the buttons, such as the two buttons on left or one on top, but you can assign QuickKeys.

Re: Batch file to create your preferred DMR ID database

That is a *very* nice shell script. It might be possible but very awkward to duplicate its function in CMD batch language, and it would probably require an external utility or two. I think it would be quite doable in Take Command (which is the successor to 4DOS and 4NT). The logic I wrote, some of ...

Re: Batch file to create your preferred DMR ID database

And for Linux, this is what I've used for a long time: https://gitlab.com/khaytsus/gd77-tools/-/blob/master/bin/csv2id.sh Note that the script itself says what the radio needs to be set for; 16 chars, use voice memory, and remember to clear out the region in the CPS which seems to always have a defa...

Re: Why? Why Use as hotspot?

For me, the difference is how far away can I use it. Around the house? The cheap ebay mmdvm works just fine. If I want to use it for a few miles I have to use the GD77 as the mmdvm is pretty deaf and will only receive for a few hundred feet at best. Both on the same external antenna. And you should ...

Somehow I missed 09/19 in the post, I just saw "Feb 29" and didn't think much of it.
