Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
Hummm, weird. I checked the current translation in the github repository and the latest one you gave: https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=200&start=180#p2604 It's identical. The only possibility is that Alex built the firmware against an old Polish translation. Let me build you something f...

Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
Hi Piotr,
So, if you want to test the firmware with the Polish translation you've made, try the debug version Alex built today:
https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?p=2683#p2683
Cheers.

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi Saku (I looked up on QRZ.com ;-) ), If you want, I can send you latest version of the binary I use. Just tell me. I also don't use python either, as I don't, hum, like it. But it was a way to make something that could work on other OSs than Windows. It's a bit hackish to support python2 and pytho...
Re: Linux...?
Hi, Don't waste your time with CPS under Wine, there is no way to make it work correctly. Wine's USB support is very limited. The only "clean" way to run it, is to make it work with Mono (but current code use PInvoke, which will never work). I've already started that, but it's on the ice ATM). I jus...

Re: [SOLVED] Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi, Hi! Thanks for trying but that does not work. Fedora does not have group "plugdev". So no need to add myself to that group. I spent a little more time for this issue now. I have been using this: https://github.com/sergev/dmrconfig for writing codeplugs. It works perfectly for that purpose. Perha...

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Okay, try with this udev rule file (don't forget to add your user to plugdev group, or change the GROUP="plugdev" to make it match the group that Fedora uses).
Cheers.
EDIT: Just checked by hand, and the udev rule will also work on your system.
Cheers.

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Okay, I see you have an old (and quite buggy) udev rule file. Let me send you a (probably) working one (it works with my Linux Mint(s) and Raspbian).

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
Hi, Okay for group. But you will need to match the group (whatever you choose, or Fedora policy), as user. About udev rule, I will check that, because few files were shared there. Maybe I will ask you to make a small test. Just to be sure, once your GD-77 is plugged to USB, and started with BLACK an...

Re: Upload with mono or python / Fedora30
HI, Hi! Just tried to upload OpenGD77_latest.sql with Fedora 30. No success yet, and bit confused what to choose. With mono: installed udev rules. How ever GD77 does not appear as any ttyACM so the rule can not work. This seems to be because of unbind fails: Dec 19 14:55:27 hamtpad kernel: usb 1-1.2...
