Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Loaded the latest 12/9/2019 update. It runs well, but in my case locked up PiStar within about 2 hours. I'm using a Pi 4B with latest PiStar 4.1.0 RC6 and all updates. It froze again with "TX" in Red on the last successful transmission line from a couple of hours earlier. This was a response from 99...

Re: Latest update

2 Hours after last transmission, PiStar locked up with the red TX lighted. This occurred on the same line as the last correctly received transmission from the VOIP infrastructure, not a new incoming message line.

Re: Latest update

Working well. No problems observed. Also, no TX lockup after about 20 minutes including multiple Parrot and Talkgroup calls.
I'll append if a Tx lockup is observed.

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

This will fail on my system within seconds to minutes after receipt of a normal incoming RF transmission of any normal length. Successfully do a moderate length (8-10 second) call to the Parrot and the hotspot will sit for some time, then lockup on a subsequent incoming transmission from VOIP infras...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

The time to failure is random, from several minutes to seconds. It has sat for hours without failing. But, often within a minute to seconds of properly receiving a local RF transmission, and then receiving data from the VOIP infrastructure, it fails. The radio transmitter turns off at the end of VOI...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

installed 12/7/19 updates. I know that this is lower priority, but will mention it to update this thread. Still have the intermittent hotspot hang on Pi-Star "Transmit" bug. This appears to only happen if the local hotspot has received an over the air transmission (Parrot on individual RadioID, not ...

Hotspot Mode - Interrupted Voice

Using HotSpot mode with the most recent 12/4/2019 firmware, I make a call on Parrot, and the response from Brandmeister / parrot is regularly interrupted at roughly data packet intervals. I hear the first of the voice response, it clicks off (I see "call end" on the receiving HT) then the voice clic...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

With the most recent 12/4/2019 firmware update, I continue to see Pi-Star itermittently lockup in TX. Once it is stuck in this mode, it will no longer respond to signals being received by the radio. The transmitter is not left in transmit during this, and it takes a reinitialize of Pi-Star to start ...

Re: OpenGD77 v 0.0.0.1 ready for testing

The v 0.0.0.3 version loads and runs without error. I also read the codeplug from my radio, altered it and successfully wrote it back to the radio.
